{{/presale}}The Tuvalu Street Fighter Series is a release from the Perth Mint celebrating the 35th anniversary of the debut of Street Fighter. Known as the Street Fighter Character Series, the new collection features reverse designs of popular characters from the first Street Fighter game issued in 1987. Today, you have the opportunity to get 2022 Colorized Tuvalu Street Fighter Ryu 1 oz Silver Coins online from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
When Street Fighter was released in 1987, one of the first characters introduced was Ryu. Best friends with Ken Masters, Ryu is one of the lead characters in the franchise and he is the longest-running character in a fighting game in video game history. He has appeared in countless sequels to Street Fighter and in other crossovers, spinoffs, and various forms of media.
Obverse
On the obverse field of 2022 Colorized Street Fighter Ryu 1 oz Silver Coins is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This portrait of Her Majesty was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley and served as the fourth-generation effigy of the Queen to grace British coins from 1998 to 2015. In the years since, countless Commonwealth Nations have featured this portrait. In this design, the Queen is set in right-profile relief with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. Inscriptions on this side include QUEEN ELIZABETH II, 1 DOLLAR, TUVALU, 2022, and 1 OZ 9999 AG.
Reverse
The reverse face of the 2022 Colorized Tuvalu Ryu Silver Coin features a depiction of Ryu. The first playable character that gamers became acquainted with, Ryu uses Shotokan Karate as his fighting style. This martial art is rooted in assassination arts. This image shows Ryu adopting a fighting stance as he summons an orb of light and energy between his hands. The colorization brings bright light to the orb, with colors of white, red, and pink throughout the figure of Ryu. Inscriptions include the CAPCOM copyright and the name RYU.
History
Ryu not only appeared as a playable character in the direct Street Fighter releases that would follow the first game in 1987, but he also appeared in countless spinoff and crossover games as a playable character. This includes titles such as the Marvel vs. Capcom series, Project X Zone, and the Super Smash Bros. series.
