Each 2022 Australian Wildlife 2 oz Silver Coin arrives inside a protective flip to keep it safe. This design honors three of the countrys most recognized creatures, all of which are regular features in Perth Mints annual bullion coin lineups.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2022 Australian Wildlife Silver Coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Created by Jody Clark, this right-facing image shows the Queen at age 89 wearing the George IV State Diadem. While it was the fifth design used in the UK, it became the sixth effigy of Her Majesty to appear on coins in Australia. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, and 2 DOLLARS.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2022 Wildlife 2 oz Silver Coin, youll find a design with all three animals together. A kookaburra is seen perched on a branch in the middle of the design, with a kangaroo leaping overhead and a koala sitting calmly at the bottom. Inscriptions read AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE, 2 OZ 9999 SILVER, 2022, and the P mint mark.
History
Kangaroos are among the most well-known animals in Australia and serve as a symbol of the countrys wildlife. Koalas are another well-loved native species, often found in eucalyptus forests along the eastern coast. Kookaburras are a familiar bird species across the country, famous for their call that sounds much like human laughter.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
