Coin Highlights:
A Caisson ceiling is usually made from wood and has the appearance of an open umbrella. These ceilings were lavishly carved to accentuate every detail. Caisson ceilings were also considered to be the highest form of architectural art in Chinese buildings with over 20 of these hand-carved ceilings in the Hall of Supreme Harmony.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2022 Antique Republic of Chad Forbidden City Caisson Ceiling 35.5 oz Silver Coin, the Republic of Chads coat of arms is engraved. The coat of arms features the image of a lion and a majestic goat holding onto the opposite ends of the emblem of the country. The inscriptions on this side of the coin include: REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD 2022 the country and the year of issue and 10000 FRANCS CFA the face value of the coin.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2022 Antique Republic of Chad Forbidden City Caisson Ceiling 35.5 oz Silver Coin, one of the numerous caisson ceiling designs is featured. This image is of a dragon with its head in the heart of the frame. The rest of its body wraps around the perimeters of the coin.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
