For the first time since the program began, the United States Mint replaced the original reverse artwork with a new image by Emily Damstra. The 2021-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins in certified condition are now available from Provident Metals.

These 2021-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins are graded PF70 by NGC and include an ALS label. The American Liberty Series label complements the design featured on the coin. A PF70 grade signifies a coin with no visible imperfections and full mint luster. Ultra-cameo proofs feature frosted design elements that stand out clearly against mirrored backgrounds.
Obverse
The obverse design on the 2021-W Proof American Eagle Silver Coin features the well-known Walking Liberty image from Adolph A. Weinman. Liberty walks confidently toward the horizon with the American flag wrapped around her shoulders. As of 2021, Weinmans signature is once again visible on the lower right portion of the obverse. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2021.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2021-W Proof Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins, you will find the new bald eagle design created by Emily Damstra. The eagle is captured mid-flight with an oak branch secured in its talons. The coins inscriptions encircle the image and include details about its origin and specifications. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The United States Mint produced two distinct versions of the Silver Eagle in 2021. Type 1 coins continued with John Mercantis heraldic eagle. These Type 2 coins introduce Damstras fresh eagle design, making them an important part of the 35th anniversary year and a notable update to the series.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
