Highlights
Obverse
The inscriptions on the obverse of the 2021 Tokelau Goddess Europa Silver Coin read GODDESS EUROPA and 1 OZ 999.9 FINE SILVER. They encircle the image in the center and are frosted to stand out on the mirrored field of the coin border. The center image is also created with frosted devices on a mirrored field. Europa is shown riding the back of a bull, which is running across a pasture. A large sun rises or sets in the background, and its rays reach out across the background.
Reverse
The inscriptions on the reverse read ELIZABETH II, 5 DOLLARS, TOKELAU and 2021. They also appear around the border of the coin as frosted devices. In the center of the mirrored field is the effigy of Elizabeth II. It’s the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait created in 1998 for the UK Royal Mint and used officially in that nation for approximately 7 years. The IRB image is still used widely across the globe on coins that call for the effigy of Her Majesty.
Packaging
The coin ships in a plastic flip for protection during shipping. Multiples of the coin come in acrylic tubes of 20 coins in total. All coin are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
History
According to the story, Europa had three sons by Zeus after he disguised himself as a bull and abducted her. He swam as a bull across the sea to bring her to Crete. The story says she eventually married a king of Crete who adopted her children. She became a queen of Crete and, eventually, the namesake of the entire European continent.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
