History
The Witcher is a collection of six novels and 15 short stories from the popular Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. The series began in 1986 with a short tale called The Witcher, which was then followed by 14 more stories due to popular demand. Then in 1994, Sapkowski released the first novel in the series known as Blood of Elves. To date the books have sold over 15 million copies and while being translated into 37 languages.
