{{/presale}}The coins of the Chinese Panda Gold Bullion series from the Chinese Mint are some of the most coveted in the world. Over the course of four decades in production, the series has offered investors and collectors alike with a BU version of the coin bearing new designs on the reverse. Only once during that time has a design been repeated. Right now, you can buy 2021 Chinese Panda 8 Gram Gold Coins online from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
With your purchase of a 2021 Chinese Panda 8 Gram Gold Coin in this product listing at Provident Metals, you will receive a coin with its original packaging from the mint. The Chinese Mint individually seals the coins inside of plastic pouches. All coins offered here are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
Obverse
The obverse design of 2021 Chinese Panda Gold Coins offers a glimpse of the exterior faade of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. Built between 1406 and 1420, the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is the central building within the Temple of Heaven Complex. The view you get here remains the same each year on the coins and offers a glimpse from the base of the stairs that lead to the main entryway to the hall. Inscriptions include the Mandarin for Peoples Republic of China and the date mark of 2021.
Reverse
On the reverse face of the 2021 Chinese Panda 8 Gram Gold Coin is a new design for 2021 capturing a heartwarming scene between an adult panda and its young cub. As the young cub climbs the trunk of a tree, the adult panda stands nearby offering a paw as support for the bold and ambitious cub. The inscriptions on this side include 8g Au .999 and the face value of 100.
History
Chinese Panda Gold Coins have offered new designs on the reverse field every year. As mentioned earlier, the Chinese Mint repeated a design only once. In 2002, the mint reused the design of the Giant Panda from 2001. The move was so unpopular with fans of the series that the Chinese Mint reversed course in 2003 by releasing a new image of the Giant Panda and it has continued to do so in the nearly two decades since.
