{{/presale}}Canadian Maple Leaf Silver is among the most popular silver bullion options in the world. For those seeking out 1 oz silver coins, the Canadian Maple Leaf ranks at the top of the market alongside the American Eagle, Chinese Panda, British Britannia, and Austrian Philharmonic. With a bust of Queen Elizabeth II on one side and the sugar maple leaf on the other, the images of this coin are well-known.
Highlights:
With your purchase of a 2021 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver Tube, you receive a total of 25 individual coins. Each one of the coins is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with .9999 pure silver content. In total, you will receive 25 Troy oz of pure silver with a combined face value of $125 (CAD).
Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse of the 2021 Canadian Maple Leaf Silver Coins. This depiction of the Queen is a right-profile bust that was created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt as the fourth-generation depiction of the Queen for Canadian coins. Just the second portrait of a British monarch from a Canadian artist for national coinage, this portrait is also the first during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II to show her figure without a crown. The inscriptions on this face read Elizabeth II and 5 Dollars 2021.
Reverse
An iconic image of the sugar maple leaf is featured on the reverse side of 2021 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver coins. The design is based on the original 1979 design from Walter Ott and features on all versions of the Canadian Maple Leaf bullion coinage. The image captures the natural splendor and design of the humble maple leaf. Inscriptions on this side of the coin include Canada, 9999, and Fine Silver 1 oz Argent Pur.
History
Canadian Maple Leaf Silver Coins debuted in 1988. The series was the first in the world to offer .9999 pure silver content. As of 2014, the coins have security features that include radial lines in the background fields on both sides with a laser micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark on the reverse.
