Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse side of 2021 British Britannia Silver Coins. Her Majesty features here in the fifth-generation portrait from the Royal Mint. Designed in 2015 by Jody Clark, this image depicts the Queen at the age of 89 as she wears the George IV State Diadem Crown. The background field has a guilloche design element. The inscriptions include 10 POUNDS, ELIZABETH II, and D.G. REG. F.D.
Reverse
Britannia is featured on the reverse of 2021 British Britannia 10 oz Silver Coins. This image was designed for the series in 1987 by Philip Nathan. It was first used on the gold version of the coin in 1987 and came to the silver series in 1997. The image shows Britannia standing along the coastline with a shield in one hand to defend the isles and a trident in the other hand to control the seas. Inscriptions on this side read BRITANNIA, 2021, 10 OZ, and 999 FINE SILVER.
History
Britannia has been associated with the British Isles since the 1st century AD. Her effigy first appeared on coins of the realm during the reign of Emperor Hadrian of the Roman Empire. Since the 17th century, Britannia has appeared on British coinage on an annual basis. In addition to featuring on the gold and silver coins, Britannia has graced the platinum coins in this bullion series since 2018.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
