{{/presale}}The American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is the most popular silver coin in the world. Introduced in 1986, the 1 oz silver coin is traditionally offered only in Brilliant Uncirculated, Proof, and Burnished versions. The United States Mint does not colorize or otherwise alter its coins in the American Eagle Series, but you can find American Eagle Silver Coins with distinctive visuals. Right now, you can get 2021 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins with a gilded finish online from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
With your purchase of 2021 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins online today at Provident Metals, you will receive a coin that is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and housed inside of an individual protective plastic capsule. You will notice that the thin layer of gold applied to the coins is found only on the obverse field. Lady Libertys figure, the American flag, the mountain, and the sun have a beautiful application of 24-karat gold to create visual contrast between the design element and the background field.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 2021 American Eagle Silver Coin features the depiction of Walking Liberty. Arguably one of Americas greatest coin designs, the depiction shows Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun in the distance, her right hand outstretched and her left carrying branches of oak and laurel. She wears a Phrygian cap on her head with the American flag draped around her figure. The inscriptions on this face of the coin include Liberty, In God We Trust, and 2021.
Reverse
On the reverse field of 2021 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is the heraldic eagle of the United States. In production for the final time on 2021 American Eagles, the heraldic eagle seal features an American eagle in front-facing relief with the US national shield, the olive branch of peace and arrows of war in its talons, and a ribbon through its beak. A triangular cluster of 13 stars above its head honors the original colonies that formed the United States. Inscriptions on this side read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, and 1 oz. Fine Silver One Dollar.
History
The United States Mint does not apply gilded or colorized layers to its bullion coins. Examples such as these American Eagle Silver Coins with a gilded layer are produced by third-party dealers like Emporium-Hamburg.
