Highlights:
When you purchase 2020 Tokelau Vivat Humanitas 1 oz Silver Coins online from Provident Metals, you will receive the coins individually inside of protective plastic capsules. The coins in the proof-like release have slightly frosted designs and clear, mirrored fields in the background for brilliant visual contrast.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2020 Tokelau Vivat Humanitas 1 oz Silver Coins is a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. Created in 1998, this fourth-generation British bust of Her Majesty depicts the Queen in right-profile relief wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. This is believed to be the Queens favorite tiara and was gifted to her grandmother, Mary of Teck, upon her marriage to the Queens grandfather, the future King George V of England.
Also included on this field of the coin are a number of inscriptions. The inner-circle includes Elizabeth II and Tokelau. The outer rim of the coin has inscriptions of 5 Dollars and 1 oz Ag 999. Also included on this side of the coin are inscriptions of letters from various ancient languages.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2020 Tokelau Vivat Humanitas 1 oz Silver Coins features four primary symbols of humanity. These symbols include images of writing, humans, Earth, and the soul. Vivat Humanitas translates from Latin as long live humanity. The symbol of writing depicted on this side of the coin is the script tzib. This script comes from the Mayan culture.
History
The Vivat Humanitas Series for Tokelau coins focuses on the elements of human civilization that bind us together. Humanity carries on despite wars and other conflicts. Though we are all different, there is far more that keeps us connected than can ever drive humans apart.
