{{/presale}}American Eagle Silver Coins have been produced by the West Point Mint since 2001, but in times of increased demand, it is not uncommon for additional mints to provide supplemental coining. Other inscriptions read United States of America and 1 oz. Fine Silver One Dollar.
History
The global pandemic that drastically spread in March 2020 led to a broad, global stock market crash and rush toward the safe haven of precious metals. American Eagle demand surged to a point that the US Mint ran out of on-hand 2020 American Eagle Silver Coins at the West Point Mint. The mint first cutback on staffing to keep employees safe, and later closed the West Point Mint for seven days. The Philadelphia Mint assisted in coin production during this time by striking 240,000 2020 American Eagle Silver Coins.
