{{/presale}}The typical release of the Chinese Panda Silver Coins includes a bullion specimen from the Chinese Mint. Each year, the coins are also available with colorization that has been applied by third-party authorized vendors. Colorization reimagines the existing design offered each year for unique visual appeal. Today, you have the chance to purchase the 2020 Colorized Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver Coin online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Colorized silver coins have a special, thin layer of colorized lacquer applied to the design elements on particular surfaces of the coin. In the case of the 2020 Chinese Panda Silver Coins, that colorization is limited to the obverse design element of the Giant Panda species. You will not find any colorization on the reverse field of the coin.
Obverse
On the obverse side of 2020 Colorized Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver Coins is a depiction of a young panda cub. The species is referred to as the Giant Panda to differentiate it from the Red Panda, a raccoon-like species also found in China. The Giant Panda, on the other hand, is a species of bear and is instantly recognizable for its white-and-black fur.
In this unique colorized release, the 2020 Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver coin has bright colorizations to bring the panda field to life. The panda cub has white-and-black colorization. The bamboo leaves are a rich green, while the grassy field is arid with a light-brown colorization. The sky in the background is a bright blue color and is dotted with puffy white clouds.
Reverse
The reverse face of the 2020 Colorized Chinese Panda Silver Coin bears the same images the series has used for decades. The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is depicted on the reverse each year. It is the primary religious building within the Taoist religious site known as the Temple of Heaven complex.
History
Chinese Panda 1 oz silver coins were first introduced by the Chinese Mint in 1983. Initially, the coin was only struck in proof and did not have a standardized size, weight, or purity in the early years. It wasnt until 1989 that the Chinese Mint had a bullion version available that was standardized to 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver.
