{{/presale}}The history of gold and silver minting in Australia has always been a long, fascinating story. Before the Royal Australian Mint was established, the Perth Mint cemented itself as the countrys longest-operating mint with a wide array of collections to back it up. Even in modern times, the Perth Mint has become a leading force in the global industry and has refused to be beaten. This silver coin is a reflection of their quality, effort, and timeless imagery. Today, Provident Metals offers you the 2020 Australian Wildlife 2 oz Silver Coin!
Coin Highlights:
Although the Royal Australian Mint is the sole producer of circulating coins within the country, the Perth Mint is the organization that specializes in bullion coins. This makes the Perth Mint Australias official bullion mint, owned exclusively by the Government of Western Australia. So far, they have done a stellar job of exciting collectors and investors with their selection of gold and silver products. Some of the most famous collections have been centered around their wildlife. This includes the koala, the kangaroo, and the kookaburra bird. However, in 2020, the mint forged a single coin that celebrates all three of these animals at the same time. Your portfolio can finally have all three iconic creatures found in one single silver product!
Obverse
For the obverse field of the 2020 Australian Wildlife 2 oz Silver Coin, the design of the British engraver, Jody Clark is featured. This image is a right profile portrait of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II who was a former monarch of Australia and a permanent fixture on their currency. She is depicted as an aged ruler doused in an array of jewelry, including her iconic tiara gifted to her by her grandmother. The inscriptions found on this side of the coin include; Elizabeth II, Australia, and 2 dollars!
Reverse
For the reverse field of the 2020 Australian Wildlife 2 oz Silver Coin, three of the most iconic animals in Australia are collaged together for an epic image like no other. The design showcases the kookaburra, the kangaroo, and the koala each in their own distinct habitat. The inscription includes; Australian Wildlife.
