{{/presale}}MintID has a new way for silver and gold bullion investors to secure and authenticate their precious metals. While MintID produces its own silver and gold bullion, it also packages and sells popular gold bullion coins from sovereign and private mints in MintID certificate cards. Each one has a unique digital profile instantly accessible via the NFC microchip in the card and the MintID mobile app. Provident Metals now has 2020 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins in MintID cards for you to purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase a 2020 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin with the MintID card in this listing, Provident Metals offers you a coin individually packaged. Each coin comes with its own MintID card that includes an NFC microchip. This microchip is encrypted with AES-128 bit encryption, the same level of encryption the US federal government uses for top-secret national data. The MintID app requires iOS 13.0 or later on Apple devices and Android 4.2 or later on other devices.
Obverse
The obverse features the image of Lady Liberty created in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The 2020 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin has the modernized version of the Lady Liberty design reintroduced in 1986. The design is very close to that of Saint-Gaudens in 1907, with the most notable change being the addition of two stars to the circle around her to bring the total to 50, reflecting the modern number of states in the Union.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 2020 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins, you will find a design from Miley Busiek. Her design was created specifically for the American Eagle Gold Coins in 1986 and features a male eagle in flight over the nest as a young hatchling is guarded by a female eagle.
History
MintID certificate cards are a new option for securing and authenticating gold bullion. Each one of these coins is packaged in a certificate card from MintID that features a tamper-evident, encrypted NFC microchip. If any attempts to tamper with the microchip in the card it will die and render a false reading or tampered result. Using the MintID app, you can enable NFC settings on your phone to instantly tap and scan the card to authenticate your 2020 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin.
