The obverse design of the 2019 Proof Australian Lunar Landing 1 oz Silver Domed Coin features the 1998 effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, designed by famed artist Ian Rank-Broadley. The Parkes antenna is also depicted on the obverse side of the coin. The antenna made it possible to broadcast Armstrongs famous first lunar steps across the world. The antenna is directed towards a detailed image of the moon. The face value of the coin is also engraved on the obverse side.
Reverse

Armstrong is depicted standing a short way away from the Eagle lunar lander. His footsteps are shown leading from the lunar lander. The Earth is depicted in full color behind Armstrong. Australia is clearly visible on the Earth. The words 50th Anniversary of the Lunar Landing are engraved on the coin.
