{{/presale}}The Royal Canadian Mint’s Call of the Wild Gold Coin series was launched in 2014. One design is released each year with a different reverse, featuring the roar or call of a wild animal that roams the untamed wilderness of Canada. Other designs in the series include the Howling Wolf, the Growling Cougar, the Roaring Grizzly, the Bugling Elk, and the Golden Eagle.
These exclusive 1 oz gold coins contain .99999 fine gold, making them the purest gold bullion available in the world. They also bear the world’s highest value legal tender of 1 oz bullion coins with a face value of $200 CAN. The sixth release in the series features one of Canada’s most iconic symbols: the majestic moose. Each 1 oz Call of the Wild Gold Moose arrives in beautiful, black-and-gold credit-card sized packaging with a unique certificate of authenticity. Order one of these stunning coins today!
Like most of the Royal Canadian Mint’s coins, the obverse of the 1 oz Gold Maple features a right-profile view of Queen Elizabeth II designed by coin artist Susanna Blunt. You’ll also find inscriptions of “ELIZABETH II,” “200 DOLLARS,” and “2019.”
Each design in the series is the work of famed wildlife artist Pierre Leduc. The 2019 reverse features a large male moose with head raised as it bellows out a mating call. The raised radiating lines in the background are designed to represent the sound waves of the animal’s call. A tiny textured maple leaf, a security measure from the Royal Canadian Mint, is barely visible under the moose. “2019” is visible on the small leaf under magnification. The engravings “CANADA,” “FINE GOLD 1 OZ OR PUR,” and “99999” are also found on the reverse.
Since 1908, the Royal Canadian Mint has produced of some of the most stunning and technically-advanced gold and silver bullion in the world. In 1979, the Mint struck the first .9999 Gold Maple Leaf, and it quickly became one of the most anticipated annual releases around the globe. Today, the RCM’s continued commitment to precious metals craftsmanship, purity, and security makes these silver coins one of the most attractive ways to invest in silver for investors and collectors alike.
