{{/presale}}The Mexican Libertad 1 oz Silver Coin from the Mexican Mint is like many of its leading competitors. The coin has the same national emblems engraved on its obverse and reverse fields each year and sees is mintage figures ebb and flow with investor demand. However, the Mexican Libertad 1 oz Silver coin has long offered much lower mintages than other major bullion programs. Today, you have the opportunity to purchase certified perfect 2018 Mexican Libertad 1 oz Silver Coins from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Mintage figures arent the only thing that separates the Mexican Libertad from many of its competitors. Like the South African Krugerrand Gold Coin, there is no face value assigned to the Mexican Libertad Silver and Gold Coins. While both coins are legal tender, both collections are produced without a face value marked on the coins. The Mexican Libertad could theoretically be used to settle debts and complete commercial transactions, but one would have to contact the Banco de Mexico to find out the floating value of the coin in that moment.
Obverse
On the obverse of 2018 Mexican Libertad 1 oz Silver Coins is a depiction of Winged Victory. This important national symbol first appeared on Mexican currency with the release of the gold Centenario in 1920. It depicts Victory with wings on her back, a wreath crown in her right hand, and broken chains in her left.
Reverse
The reverse face of 2018 Mexican Libertad 1 oz Silver Coins features 11 different versions of the Mexican Coat of Arms. The national seal as it is currently designed has a powerful eagle on a cactus battling against a serpent. Around the outer edge, you can see 10 historical versions of this seal used in Mexicos past.

The 2006 coin also had a mintage of 300,000 and the 2000 coin had a mintage of 340,000.
