The obverse field of the 2018 British Royal Arms of England 1 oz Silver Coin is available with Queen Elizabeth II in the design element. The portrait featured here is the fourth-generation design from the Royal Mint of England and was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley. It depicts the Queen in right-profile relief wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on her head. This tiara is the most visible on British currency denominations and was gifted to the Queens grandmother, Mary of Teck, upon her marriage to Elizabeth IIs grandfather King George VI.
