The 2017 Niue The Death of Abel Biblical Series 2 oz Silver Coin is the 5th design release for the year and features the tragic tale of Cain and Abel comes to the forefront of the collection. The first-born sons of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel were born after their parents were cast out of Eden.
Obverse
The obverse design of each of the Biblical Silver Coins features the third-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty has appeared on all British and commonwealth coinage since she took the throne in 1952. This effigy was created in 1984 by artist Raphael Maklouf.
Reverse
The reverse design of the 2017 Niue The Death of Abel Biblical Series 2 oz Silver features the figure of Cain, using a large boulder for support, with a large stick in his hand. Cain is shown having just murdered his brother Abel. It is written that God favored Abel and his sacrifices over those that Cain produced. This led Cain to intense envy and jealousy, and ultimately saw Cain murdering his brother in a fit of rage.
The 2017 Niue The Death of Abel Biblical Series 2 oz Silver Coin is securely packaged and shipped in a Bible-themed display box. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
