History
George Rogers Clark National Historical Park is situated in Vincennes, Indiana, on the banks of the Wabash River. Though Fort Sackville no longer stands, it is believed that the site Lt. Colonel Clark attacked with his forces during the Revolutionary War. His successful capture of the fort concluded the Illinois Campaign, securing the region for the Americans during the war.
