{{/presale}}The Chinese Panda Gold Coins from the Chinese Mint are a global leader in the precious metals industry. Coveted by investors right alongside the American Eagle, Canadian Maple Leaf, and British Britannia, the Chinese Panda is one of the most visible gold bullion lineups around and is the only major program of its type to alter a design element each year. Provident Metals now offers the 2017 Chinese Panda 30 Gram Gold Coin to you in near-perfect condition for online purchasing.
Highlights:
When you buy a 2017 Chinese Panda 30 Gram Gold Coin through this Provident Metals listing, the coin you receive is a near-perfect specimen. Each one of these Mint State 69 coins showcases full, original mint luster with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws present. Acceptable flaws at this level include minuscule contact marks or hairlines that must be found only outside of the primary focal points of the coin.
Obverse
The building known as the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is featured on the obverse of 2017 Chinese Panda 30 Gram Gold Coins. This building is the primary structure within the Temple of Heaven complex and, as the name suggests, is traditionally a site where emperors and commoners alike would go and pray for bountiful harvests to sustain the people.
Reverse
In the reverse design element of 217 Chinese Panda 30 Gram Gold Coins, the Chinese Mint offers up yet another new vision of the Giant Panda species. These unique bears are native to the central highlands of China and subsist on a diet largely made up of bamboo. In this years design, a panda is featured in a seated position as it clutches a bamboo branch in its paws.
History
2017 marked just the second time that the Chinese Mint had issued the Chinese Panda Gold Coins in the Gram weights instead of the previous Troy ounce weights.
