{{/presale}}The 2016 Niue Kings of the Continents Grizzly Bear 1 oz Silver Coin brings to brilliant colorized life, the grizzly bear with fearsome roar. This silver coin is a part of the Kings of the Continents Series, issued by the New Zealand Mint. First released in 2016, the coins offer a glimpse into some of the incredible wild animals that dominate the lands around the world. This coin contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver. It has a face value of $2, which is fully backed by the government of the island nation Niue. The series is considered to be incredibly collectible, particularly since the mintage limits were set at just 5,000 coins.
Highlights:
The massive grizzly bear can stand as tall at 8 feet, and is the largest mammalian predator around the globe. The bears, which are a subspecies of the North American brown bear, can weigh in at a whopping 800lbs. The grizzly bears Latin name is Urusus horribilis. This translates to terrifying bear. This seems quite apt for this fierce-looking bear.
The Kings of the Continents Series, issued by the New Zealand Mint features brilliantly colorized images on the reverse side of each of the coins. The featured animals are brought to life with vibrant hues. Your 2016 Niue Kings of the Continents Grizzly Bear 1 oz Silver Coin will be issued in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. BU coins demonstrate no signs of wear and tear. There may be noticeable breaks in the luster, spotted surfaces, or contact marks as a result of the minting process.
