The 2015-W US Mint First Spouse Mamie Eisenhower 1/2 oz Gold Coin has been certified Mint State 70 (MS70) by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). This means the coin is in flawless condition, showcasing its full original mint luster with no imperfections. Each coin also includes a label hand-signed by David Hall, a co-founder of PCGS.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2015-W US Mint First Spouse Mamie Eisenhower Gold Coin displays a right-profile portrait of Mamie Eisenhower. She was widely recognized for her grace, charm, and distinctive style during her time in the White House. The inscriptions read MAMIE EISENHOWER, IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, 2015, 34TH, 1953-1961, and the W mint mark.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2015-W First Spouse Mamie Eisenhower 1/2 oz Gold Coin, her hand is shown holding an I Like Mamie campaign pin. This design references her involvement in her husbands presidential campaigns, which prominently featured the well-known slogan I Like Ike. Her role in these efforts helped build enthusiasm for Dwight D. Eisenhowers candidacy. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, $10, 1/2 OZ., and .9999 FINE GOLD.

As the First Lady during President Dwight D. Eisenhowers two terms, Mamie Eisenhower was well known for her hospitality and commitment to military families. She was a popular figure in the 1950s, maintaining a busy social calendar while also supporting causes that benefited American service members and their families. Her charm and dedication made her a beloved First Lady.
