Obverse
The obverse side of Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins bears the effigy of Walking Liberty. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, it appeared on the US half dollar until 1947. It depicts Lady Liberty walking from right to left with her right hand reach for the sun on the horizon as her left hand carries the branches of oak and laurel.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2015-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is the heraldic eagle of the United States. Modified for this release by John Mercanti, the image includes an American bald eagle with the national shield on its chest. The eagle clutches the arrows of war in one talon and an olive branch of peace in the other, with a triangular cluster of 13 stars overhead.
History

Coins with certification have been assessed by professionals for the condition of the mint luster, the quality of the strike, and the overall visual appeal of the coin. Once graded, the coins are sealed inside of protective plastic slabs.
