{{/presale}}Produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, the Silver Year of the Sheep celebrates ancient Chinese culture.
Composed of .9999 fine silver, each coin has been rated MS69 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) due to its nearly flawless appearance.
Like other Canadian coins, the obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the reigning monarch of Canada. ELIZABETH II and D.G. REGINA — which stands for “Dei Gratia Regina” or “By the Grace of God, Queen” — are also inscribed.
Designed by Simon Ng, the reverse features a sheep in front of a cluster of bamboo. CANADA, 10 DOLLARS, YEAR OF THE SHEEP and 2015 are engraved.

About the Year of the Sheep
According to the Chinese zodiac, 2015 is the Year of the Sheep. The animal represents wealth, warmth and creativity. Because of its inherently gentle nature — meek, submissive and understanding — the sheep is blessed with good fortune.
What is MS69?
A coin graded Mint State 69 means it is in nearly perfect condition. It has maintained its original luster, and there are no more than two flaws noted on its surface. The coin has a sharp strike with no scuffs or hairlines, and it has a near-flawless appearance.
About the Royal Canadian Mint
Founded in 1908, the Royal Canadian Mint is one of the world’s most advanced refiners of gold and silver. The Mint rose as the first to produce gold coins inscribed with the name CANADA, along with iconic Canadian images like the maple leaf and the coat of arms.
Today, RCM markets to collectors and investors alike, producing a variety of high-quality bullion coins, wafers and bars.
