When you purchase a 2015 Armenian Noahs Ark 1/2 oz Silver Coin in this product listing, the item you receive comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Coins in this listing are offered in protective plastic flips for individual specimens. Multiples of 20 are available in mint tubes. Multiples of 500 coins are available in boxes. Please note that Geiger Edemetalle originally ships multiples of 500 in wooden boxes, but that those boxes are prone to cracking over time. If the original box has cracked, we will ship your coins in another protective box.
Obverse
On the obverse face of the 2015 Armenian Noahs Ark 1/2 oz Silver Coin, you will find the Armenian coat of arms. The national coat of arms features an eagle supporting it on one side and a lion supporting it on the other side. The seal includes a quartered shield at the center with a smaller shield in the very center depicting Noahs ark resting atop Mount Ararat. The term Republic of Armenia is inscribed on this side in both English and Armenian, with additional inscriptions of 1/2 oz Ag 999, 200 Dram, 2015, and the LEV rhombus of Geiger Edelmetalle.
Reverse
The reverse field of the 2015 Armenian Noahs Ark Silver Coins includes the Noahs ark design. In the design field, the ark is at the center floating on the floodwaters as the sun rises over Mount Ararat in the distance. A dove flies into the foreground of the design with a branch in its beak. Inscriptions on this face include Noahs Ark in both English and Armenian.
History
Germanys Geiger Edelmetalle produces the Armenian Noahs Ark coins and introduced the series in 2011 with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1/4 oz silver coins. In 2012, it expanded to feature 5 oz, 10 oz, Kilo, and 5 Kilo silver coins. The highest mintage of the 1/2 oz silver coin was the 2016 release with 156,002 coins. These 2015 coins are the second-highest minted in the series.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
