{{/presale}}The enhanced security features, authenticity, and value make the 2015 1 oz Palladium Canadian Maple Leaf an attractive way to diversify your precious metals holdings. The 2015 Palladium Maple Leaf was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint and consists of .9995 fine palladium.
Palladium is more abundant and affordable than gold. Palladium Bullion is resistant to corrosion, and is in high demand around the globe, especially in the automobile industry where the metal is used in catalytic converters.
The Royal Canadian Mint began minting Palladium Maple Leafs in 2005. These stunning coins are the only .9995 fine palladium coins that the Canadian government issues. Each coin has a legal tender value of $50 (CAN), weighs 31.16 grams and measures 34 mm in diameter.
Palladium Maple Leafs may be included in a self-directed Precious Metals IRA, and their weight and purity are certified by the Royal Canadian Mint. The Palladium Maple Leafs are popular among bullion investors and coin enthusiasts, and with the introduction of additional security features, the 2015 are sure to pique even more interest.
The security features on the Palladium Maple Leafs include a micro-engraved maple leaf with the “15” at its center, and radial lines across the fields of the coin. The radial lines replace the previous “bullion finish”, and create a unique pattern of light diffraction.
The reverse of each palladium coin features the Canadian Maple Leaf and radial lines. Adjacent to the leaf is a textured, laser-engraved maple leaf showing the number “15,” for the year it was issued. “CANADA,” “.9995,” “FINE PALLADIUM” and “1 OZ PALLADIUM PUR” are inscribed around the maple leaf.
A portrait of Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse. Radial lines also appear on the obverse, with inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “50 DOLLARS” and “2015.”
The Royal Canadian Mint is renowned for producing high quality and high purity Bullion Products. Each of these coins will ship in the same Brilliant Uncirculated condition that we receive them from the mint. Singles coins will ship in plastic flips.
