{{/presale}}America the Beautiful silver coins are available from the United States Mint with five distinct designs in each of the release periods. For each of the designs, the US Mint releases an investment-grade silver bullion coin and a collectible burnished version of the coin. The burnished coins come with a mint mark, unlike the bullion option. Right now, you can buy the 2014-P Burnished ATB Arches 5 oz Silver Coin online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
If you purchase the 2014-P Burnished ATB Arches 5 oz Silver Coin available here today, you will receive your coin inside of a protective display box from the US Mint that includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The burnished coins in the ATB Silver series have lower mintage figures and ship with a P mint mark from Philadelphia inscribed on the obverse side of the coin.
Obverse
On the obverse of all 2014-P Burnished ATB Arches 5 oz Silver Coins is an effigy of President George Washington. This left-profile bust was created in 1932 by John Flanagan and is based on a 1786 sculpting of Washington. It was placed on the US quarter in 1932 to honor the 200th anniversary of his birth.
Reverse
The reverse face of 2014-P Burnished ATB Arches 5 oz Silver Coins includes the image of Delicate Arch. This is one of the many arches found in the park that were carved into the rocky terrain by the sands of time. Wind forces, kicked up sand, and other elements carved away rock faces over time leaving behind natural arches that now dot the landscape.
History
America the Beautiful is a 56-coin silver bullion series from the United States Mint. Launched in 2010, the program offers five new designs each year and represents each of the 50 states, the five overseas territories of the nation, and Washington D.C. The coin designs in the series are chosen by a panel of coin designers and citizens who provide input on several design options before one is chosen for each jurisdiction.
