{{/presale}}One of the more unique national parks in the United States is Arches National Park in Utah. Here, some of the most delicate and distinctive rock formations in the world are protected by the federal government of the United States. Today, you have the chance to purchase 2014 ATB Arches 5 oz Silver Coins online at Provident Metals in near-perfect condition.
Highlights:
Located on the Colorado Plateau in the state of Utah, Arches National Park protects more than 76,000 acres of land. Much of the protected space includes some 2,000 natural rock formations that were carved out over the course of millions of years of evolution on Earth. Among those rock formations is the one known as Delicate Arch.
Obverse
President George Washington is depicted on the obverse of 2014 ATB Arches 5 oz Silver Coins. Designed in 1932 by John Flanagan, this bust was put on the US quarter in 1932 to mark the 200th anniversary of his birth. Washingtons portrait replaced the Standing Liberty quarter design that was not considered exceptionally popular and was suspended in 1930.
Reverse
The rock formation known as Delicate Arch is shown on the reverse side of the 2014 ATB Arches 5 oz Silver coin. Delicate Arch stands 52 feet tall and is the largest free-standing rock formation within the park. It is so popular in the state of Utah that it is featured on the state license plate and on countless stamps and other documents in the state.
History
Administered by the National Park Service, Arches National Park was first designated as a national monument in April 1929. It was later redesignated as a national park in 1971 and by the latest figures from 2018, the park welcomed 1.6 million visitors on an annual basis.
Ordering
2014 ATB Arches 5 oz Silver Coins in this listing are available to you in near-perfect condition. Mint State 69 certifications indicate the coins have full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. Examples of those flaws include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines found outside the primary focal points of the coin. Each one is considered a deeply-mirrored, proof like bullion coin that has frosted designs and mirrored fields.
