{{/presale}}Produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, the 2014 Maple Canopy Silver coin is the fourth and final release in the series, dedicated to celebrating the Canadian Maple.
Composed of .999 fine silver, each coin has a diameter of 38mm and weighs 31g. Because it has maintained a flawless condition, it has been graded PF70 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, or NGC.
The coin’s obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the reigning monarch of Canada. ELIZABETH II and D.G. REGINA — which stands for “Dei Gratia Regina” or “By the Grace of God, Queen” — are also inscribed.
Designed by Emily Damstra, the reverse features the iconic Canadian Maple. Selective coloring showcases the tree’s yellow and orange leaves. CANADA, 20 DOLLARS and the year of mintage are engraved at the tree’s base.
The beautifully colorful Maple Canopy Silver coin is a great collector’s item — and the perfect gift for the nature enthusiast in your life. Order yours from Provident Metals today.
Autumn in Canada
Fall is one of Canada’s most breathtaking seasons, as the foliage transforms the landscape into a paradise of rich and vibrant colors.
Visitors of this canvas-of-color often say the best way to admire it is standing in the trees looking up — the same view depicted on the reverse of the Maple Canopy coin.
What is PF70?
A grade of PF70 means the coin has maintained its original luster and it is in near perfect condition. PF70 is the highest grade a coin can receive, showing no signs of wear, damage, nicks or any other visible imperfections.
