History
American Buffalo Gold Coins debuted in 2006 as the first-ever 24-karat gold coins from the US Mint. The 2013 reverse proof marked the 100th-anniversarycelebration of James Earle Frasers design for the Buffalo Nickel, a coin struck by the US Mint from 1913 to 1938.
