{{/presale}}The Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is the nations official silver bullion collectible. Introduced in 1986 alongside the investment-grade Brilliant Uncirculated coin, the Proof American Eagle Silver Coin is one of the most popular collectible silver pieces in the world. The United States Mint individually packages the coins upon original issue, but graded specimens are given more secure packaging by the likes of the NGC and PCGS. Provident Metals currently offers you a perfect condition 2013-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin to purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase the 2013-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin in this product listing, the item you receive is in perfect condition according to the NGC. Coins with a PF70 certification showcase full, original mint luster with no detracting flaws of any kind present on the design elements and surface areas of the coin. The additional UCAM, or ultra-cameo, label indicates the coins have beautiful contrast between strong, frosted designs and deeply-mirrored, clear backgrounds.
Obverse
On the obverse side of the 2013-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is the image of Walking Liberty. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the depiction of Liberty found here is a 1916 design that shows her walking toward the sun on the horizon with the American flag draped over her shoulders with branches of oak and laurel in her left hand.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2013-W Proof American Eagle Silver Coin includes the heraldic eagle design. This national emblem bears the US national shield on the chest of an American bald eagle. The bird clutches the arrows of war in one talon, the olive branch of peace in the other, and a banner in its beak that reads E Pluribus Unum.
History
The 2013 release year included two additional collectible coins. The West Point Mint two-coin set included a special W-reverse proof coin and a W-enhanced uncirculated coin with special frosted and mirrored fields. Even with those coins available, these traditional proof silver coins had a strong sales year with 934,812 coins sold. That is one of the top-five mintages of all time in the series.
