The wait is over for the final installment of the 2012 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin Program. Investors can now purchase the Denali National Park ATB through Provident Metals, each containing 5-Ounces of .999 Pure Silver. The highly anticipated coin commemorates Denali National Park, a six million acre preserve located in the expansive Alaska Interior.

The ATB Silver Bullion Series features 56 national parks, forests and monuments–one from each state and territory. Commissioned by America’s Beautiful National Parks Coin Act of 2008, the series is released alongside the circulating clad quarters program of the same designs. Each silver coin has a three-inch diameter, making it the largest bullion coin issued by the United States Mint.

Larger than the entire state of Massachusetts, Denali National Park boasts the highest mountain in North America, often referred to as Mount McKinley. Established in 1917, the preserve was originally christened Mount McKinley National Park after the nation’s 25th President. The name elicited immediate criticism by locals, as the mountain was known as Denali (or the High One) by native Athabascan people for centuries. The park was renamed Denali in 1980 and Alaskans widely refer to the mountain by the same.

Visited by hundreds of thousands of wilderness enthusiasts each year, Denali is home to countless animal species. From a safe distance, tourists can get a glimpse of grizzly and black bears, caribou, moose, gray wolves, a variety of migratory birds, ten species of fish and the Dall sheep, prominently featured on the reverse of each Denali ATB. The reverse also bears a serene portrait of the park’s Mount McKinley, designed by Susan Gamble and sculpted by Jim Licaretz.

ATB Silver Coins ship in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, precisely as we receive them from the US Mint. Individual coins ship in a plastic capsule, quantities of 10 ship in a tube, and quantities of 100 ship in a monster box. Quantities that ship in tubes or monster boxes will not ship with plastic capsules.

To diversify your portfolio while paying homage to one of Alaska’s greatest natural marvels, pick up an America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin. Our secure online ordering system ensures the safety of your personal information, while your order arrives swiftly at your door.
