{{/presale}}With gold bullion products that have been highly beloved for many years, the American Gold Eagle coin series is a classic series. Each year, this coin collection continues to be popular among collectors and investors throughout the United States and worldwide. The release of the 2007 coin did mark a decline in mintage, with mintages being lower than they had been in over ten years. The 2007 American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin is now available for purchase online from Provident Metals.
Coin Highlights:
The 2007 American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin release joins a classic American coin series, bearing a face value of five dollars that has been fully backed and guaranteed by the government of the United States. When ordering from Provident Metals, you will receive this coin in a protective plastic flip. The 2007 coin was struck in 91.67% fine gold and experienced a decrease in mintage compared to other coins released previously in the series.
History
First introduced in 1986, the American Gold Eagle coin series has released new bullion products each year. The exclusive gold coins in this collection have all been manufactured and distributed by the U.S. mint, with four different weights available each year of release. All coins in this series have been authorized under the American Eagle Bullion Program, allowing investors to be able to conveniently purchase these bullion products for many years.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2007 American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin shows the image of Lady Liberty as she strides forward toward the viewer. This design was originally created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Lady Liberty holds two objects high up near her head: a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. Behind her, the sun rays extend out toward the edge of the coin, with the release year listed to the right. The word LIBERTY is also printed above Lady Libertys head.
Reverse
The reverse design of the 2007 American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin shows a family of eagles. This design created by Miley Busiek shows a father eagle bringing an olive branch to the nest, where the mother eagle sits with their hatchlings. The coins weight, value, and purity are also listed on the reverse, along with three inscriptions: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and IN GOD WE TRUST.
