History

The 2000 American Eagle Gold coin hasnt always been recognized for its unique history and features as it is recognized today amongst collectors and investors. In lieu of the all-time highs reached in the prior year, the mintages for the 2000 Gold Eagle bullion coins declined significantly for every domination. This was a consequence of mainstream interest declining despite the high levels previously reached ahead of the new millennium. Regardless, with the advent of a new era, interest skyrocketed when elite collectors desired to have a special memento to remember the millennium year. What better way to look back at an important point in history than with a flawless bullion coin from the prestigious organization of the US Mint Authority?

Obverse

There is nothing more iconic and revered than the famous Lady Liberty design. Crafted by the renowned French sculptor, Augustus Saint-Gaudens, you will be treated to the magnificent view of Lady Liberty walking towards you with a blazing torch of inferno, looking both graceful and powerful.

Reverse

The reverse holds its own iconic design which was sculpted by no other than the captivating Miley Busiek. It features an image of bald American eagles resting peacefully in their nest while the male head flies over them in all of its glory.
