Right now, Pre-33 $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle Coins are available to purchase online from Provident Metals.

Reverse
The reverse face of Pre-33 $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles features a beautiful American bald eagle gliding in flight with its wings spread as the sun crests the lower portion of the design field and its rays of light reach to the edges of the field.
History
The Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle design debuted in 1907 just months of Saint-Gaudens died from complications due to illness. The design went through three reverse types that included Roman numbers and no national motto in 1907, Arabic numerals and no motto from late 1907 to 1908, and Arabic numerals with In God We Trust from 1908 to 1933. The first year of issue include some attempts at a high relief strike, but the vast majority of the coins were eventually struck in low relief as the US Mints technology was not capable of good high relief striking at the time.
