{{/presale}}The availability of gold bars in the modern marketplace is astonishing. Gold bars are no longer just blocks of gold with a few markings on them identifying weight, purity, and metal content. Modern gold bullion bars take on all forms and come with a wide array of styles available to suit any investors. Right now, you can buy 20 oz Gold Bars online at Provident Metals in varied conditions from any mint.
Highlights:
With your purchase of a 20 oz Gold Bar through this Provident Metals listing, you will receive your gold bars packaged with protective materials inside of a plain shipping box. In the event that we have items available at the time your payment is processed that remain inside of the original mint packaging, you will receive your gold bar in that packaging.
Obverse
On the obverse side of 20 oz Gold Bars are designs chosen by the mint of issue. In most cases, the obverse side of the bar is reserved for an intricate design if the mint uses such designs on its products. For those mints that offer only an obverse design, you will typically find the mint logo along with the markings of the weight, purity, and metal content.
Reverse
The reverse face of the 20 oz Gold Bars also features various different designs. In the case of most cast gold bars and hand-poured gold bars, you will find a blank field on this side of the 20 oz Gold Bars. Those products that have a design on the obverse side of the 20 oz Gold Bar will feature a mint logo on this side and may also feature the weight, purity, and metal content of the bar.
History
Gold bars in the modern era are produced in one of three popular product types. Minted ingots are a newer invention and take advantage of computer-controlled stamping presses and engravers to create refined, intricate designs on the surface of gold bars. Cast and hand-poured gold bars are produced in a fashion similar to the traditional methods used for thousands of years to produce gold bullion bars.
