On the reverse side, the $2 Shohei Ohtani Legal Tender Note portrays John Trumbull’s iconic depiction of the Declaration of Independence signinga revered scene on all $2 bills. The original masterpiece by artist John Trumbull is a sprawling 12-by-18-foot oil-on-canvas artwork. Commissioned in 1817, it found its place in the United States Capitol rotunda in 1826. Inscriptions include TWO DOLLARS, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, 1776.
