In recent years, the Punisher’s skull symbol, nicknamed the Deuce Four Skull, has been adopted by several regiments in the US armed forces as their own “esprit de corps”. The 24th Infantry Regiment, deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004, painted the Deuce Four Skull symbol on the walls of buildings where the regiment killed enemy combatants. As a result, the symbol became a fearsome calling card for the regiment and the US armed forces as a whole.

The obverse features a stylized Deuce Four Skull used by US armed forces. The Roman numeral “III” is inscribed in the skull’s forehead, signifying the relative size of the population who acted as armed resistance in the American Revolution. It is encircled by thirteen stars and the motto “WE ARE EVERYWHERE EXPECT US”. Headstamps of popular rifle calibers – .223, 7.6239, 5.56, .308 are also inscribed.
The reverse features the Intaglio Mint logo in high relief set on a radial burst. The image is surrounded by a border reading “TWO TROY OUNCES” above and “.999 FINE SILVER” below on a textured background. Four bullet points flank each side.
