Design
Both the obverse and reverse showcase the same powerful Doggaebi imagery. The mythical Doggaebi creature is depicted front and center on a shield, staring intensely outward. The shield has a rounded top, straight sides, and a half-moon shape cut out at the bottom – a design also seen on the obverse of the renowned Chiwoo Cheonwang Series. One side is domed to allow for easy stacking.
History
In Korean folklore, the Doggaebi is a spirit or deity figure wielding supernatural powers, akin to goblins or hobgoblins of Western tales. Doggaebi effigies were once hung outside homes to ward off evil spirits. These mythical beings first appeared in stories dating back to the Goryeo dynasty on the Korean peninsula (918-1392).

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
