Each 1992 Chinese Panda 1/2 oz Gold Coin available here ships in a protective plastic pouch. These particular coins are identified as Small Date versions, which means the date engraving uses smaller, tighter numerals compared to the Large Date type. This difference is subtle but recognizable to collectors.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 1992 Chinese Panda Gold Coin displays the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This iconic structure stands in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing and has appeared on the obverse of Gold Panda Coins since the start of the series. The design shows the buildings exterior view from the front.
Reverse
The reverse of the 1992 Panda 1/2 oz Gold Coin features a baby panda making its way through the branches of a tree. This playful scene also reflects the importance of movement and practice in the cubs early development.
History
Young pandas are known for their playful personalities, and one of their favorite pastimes is climbing. As they grow, tree climbing not only entertains them but also helps them build the strength and coordination theyll need later in life. This coins design captures one of these early climbing moments.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
