The reverse field of 1976 Bicentennial Prism Hologram JFK Half Dollars contains Independence Hall. History
In 1975 and 1976, the United States Mint issued three separate commemorative coins to celebrate the bicentennial of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The three coins selected were the Eisenhower Dollar, the Washington Quarter, and the Kennedy Half Dollar. Regardless of which year they were minted, all these coins bear the dates 1776-1976. Of the three coins, the Kennedy Half Dollar was the first to be issued. Today, all 3 are popular collectors items.
