{{/presale}}Morgan Dollar Silver Coins are highly coveted bullion coins renowned for their historical significance. Among these exceptional coins, the ones struck at the now-defunct New Orleans Mint hold a special allure. Operating from 1879 to 1904, this mint produced over 186 million Morgan Dollar Silver Coins. Unfortunately, many of these coins experienced heavy circulation or were melted down for their silver content. However, the 1901 version of the Morgan Silver Dollar Coin boasts the highest mintage from this mint. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of numismatic history – order your 1901-O Morgan Dollar Silver Coin today from Provident Metals.

History
Although the New Orleans Mint ceased operations and did not strike Morgan Silver Dollars every year, it managed to produce over 186 million of these remarkable coins. The 1901 version holds the distinction of having the highest mintage, with over 13 million coins minted during that year alone. The series experienced a revival in 1921 and again in 2021, with mints in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Denver contributing to the coin’s enduring legacy.
