Each 1894 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin available here has been graded About Uncirculated 58, the highest grade in the AU category. These coins retain most of their luster, with only light friction on the raised design areas. Each coin is housed in a protective slab for secure handling and display.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1894 Morgan Dollar Coin showcases George T. Morgans portrait of Lady Liberty facing left. Liberty wears a Phrygian cap, laurel wreath, and coronet, and is surrounded by 13 stars symbolizing the original colonies. Inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 1894.
Reverse
The reverse of 1894 Morgan Dollar Silver Coins features Morgans version of the heraldic eagle. The eagle appears without the national shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch, symbolizing both strength and peace. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, and IN GOD WE TRUST.
History
The 1894 Morgan Silver Dollars production was notably reduced due to the 1893 repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act. This legislation had ensured steady silver purchases for coin production, and its repeal led to just 110,000 coins being struck in Philadelphia. However, New Orleans and San Francisco Mints produced 1.7 million and 1.2 million coins, respectively.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
