Obverse
The obverse field features Lady Liberty in effigy alongside the inscriptions “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “1883.” Thirteen decorative stars at the rim represent the nation’s founding states.
Reverse
The reverse field shows a heraldic eagle carrying a bundle of arrows and an olive branch, along with the “CC” mint mark and the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.”
