Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1882-CC $20 Double Eagle Gold Coin, youll find the Great Seal of the United States. This includes a bald eagle holding arrows and an olive branch in its talons, positioned in front of a shield. As a Type III coin, this version carries the full national motto and features an updated design for the denomination text. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, TWENTY DOLLARS, and the CC mint mark.
