All 12 oz Platinum Proof 1987 Mexican 200th Anniversary Casa De Moneda Rounds are packaged in protective boxes. The Mexican Mint produced this release specifically to mark the bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, and only 500 rounds were struck.
Obverse
The obverse design of the 12 oz Platinum Proof Mexican 200th Anniversary Casa De Moneda Round highlights a traditional minting press from the Casa de Moneda de Mxico. Surrounding inscriptions include the mints name, the year of issue, and the metal content, which appears in English on this platinum version. The inscriptions here read CASA DE MONEDA DE MEXICO, 12 ONZAS PLATINUM PURO .999, 1987, and the Mo mint mark.
Reverse
On the reverse of the Platinum Proof 1987 Mexican 200th Anniversary Casa De Moneda Round, you will see images of Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
