Highlights
The 1 oz Silver Trivium Girls Shield Rounds are part of the Silver Shield Collection from Golden State Mint. The Trivium Girls design focuses on the fall of old ways and the rise of new. The word represents the merge of the liberal arts divisions of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. The Trivium Girls represent these three disciplines.
Obverse
On the obverse of these 1 oz Silver Trivium Girls Shield Rounds, you will find an image of three women who represent the three areas of study. Lady Rhetoric is on the right and heralds a new consciousness free of fear and ignorance. Lady Logic stands in the middle, using her mind to process information to free herself from mental and physical shackles. Lady Grammar is shown on the left, representing the foundation of language and working towards her quest for truth. You will also find Listen to all, follow none inscribed along the sides of the obverse.
Reverse
The reverse of these rounds features the design element included on other rounds from the Shield collection. Known as the Silver Shield, the design includes a sword in the center of the reverse with elaborate designs around it. Flames surround the image on the outer edge. Engravings include Silver Shield as well as the rounds weight, purity, metal content, and release year.
