History
Dinosaurs roamed Planet Earth in a period called as the Mesozoic Era. Known as the Age of the Dinosaurs, this era included 3 consecutive periods that we call the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous eras. The Triassic Period occurred 251 to 201 million years ago. It was followed by the Jurassic Era, which ran from 201 to 145 million years past. Finally, we have the Cretaceous Era, dated 145 to 66 million years ago. Ultimately, the dinosaurs would go completely extinct following a catastrophic asteroid impact that resulted in a domino effect that wreaked havoc on the earths ecosystem.
